Tools for Analysis and Collation of ManageBac Data

ManageBac provides us with mountains of information relating to tasks, assignments and grades. By processing this data efficiently, it is possible to generate quick automated overviews of what is happening in your school.

The International School of The Hague (ISH) is a fairly big school, we have over 500 classes on ManageBac, over 100 teachers and over 800 students - so the data management is a big task.

To support the use of ManageBac and to disseminate the data, Robin has developed tools in Excel/VBA and Google Apps Script to collate and summarise the data for staff and leadership teams. He will walk through the process of how they are used to check, process and communicate reporting data for both DP and MYP, covering the commonly asked questions below:
  • How many points are students on?
  • Who is doing great and who needs support?
  • Which teachers haven't put in their grades and comments yet?
  • How is my subject doing?
  • I can I be confident the reports I send to parents are complete?
  • What are the trends in data for subjects and students?
  • How many tasks are teachers putting on ManageBac?
  • How can I share this information?
